In addition to configuration through the ILKNF IP Wizard, the ILKNF IP supports a software-based configuration. Some configuration registers (identified as RW ATTR) are persistent between resets, meaning that the value of a configuration register does not change as the result of a reset. This allows the ILKNF to be reset without having to perform software configuration again. When the device is reprogrammed, these ILKNF configuration registers are overwritten with the attribute values generated by the ILKNF IP Wizard. Other configuration registers (identified as Type RW) are set to their default values after reset.
