Filter coefficients are layed out in memory as a two dimensional array of [PHASE][TAP]. Each filter coefficient is 16 bit, and is represented as S4.11, i.e. signed fixed point with four integer bits and 11 fractional bits.
The driver needs to provide built-in tables for 6, 8, 10, or 12 tap filters.
