After loading a design, you can use the Tools > Edit Device Properties command to edit programming and configuration properties. In the Edit Device Properties dialog box (shown in the following figure), hover the mouse cursor over the property values to see the associated constraint property name. For example, the Enable Bitstream Compression property is associated with the BITSTREAM.GENERAL.COMPRESS constraint. For information on setting device configuration modes, see this link in the Vivado Design Suite User Guide: I/O and Clock Planning (UG899).

Important: When you edit the properties, the constraints are in memory. Select File > Constraints > Save to write the properties to the target constraint file.
