Colocated Nodes Constraint - 2022.2 English

AI Engine Kernel and Graph Programming Guide (UG1079)

Document ID

Release Date
2022-10-19
Version
2022.2 English

This constrains a port (i.e., the port buffer) location to be on the same tile as that of one or more kernels. This ensures that the data buffer can be accessed by the other kernels without requiring a DMA.

Syntax

"colocated_nodes": [<node list>]
<node list> ::= <node name>[,<node name>...]
<node name> ::= string

Example

{
  "PortConstraints": {
    "mygraph.k1.in[0]": {
      "colocated_nodes": ["mygraph.k1"]
    },
    "mygraph.k2.in[0]": {
      "colocated_nodes": ["mygraph.k2"]
    }
  }
}
