The Vivado® Design Suite provides several device planning features that can affect I/O and clock planning. For example, the ways in which you plan to configure the device, set device constraints, and set configuration voltage all have an impact on I/O and clock planning.
Optionally, you can also define alternate package-compatible devices to enable changing the size of your target part in case your final design requires it. Define these device-specific properties before beginning I/O and clock planning.
