76989 - Design Advisory: Versal BUFDIV_LEAF incorrect functionality resulting in HW failure when used as route-thru and DIVIDE value not equal to 1 when that is the expected value.

To check if a design is impacted you can run the script provided with this Answer Record.

The script will report if the design is ok and no further action is required with the message below:   

Design is OK!  The design does not have any incorrect CONFIG.DIVIDE values on BUFDIV_LEAF BELs. 



If the script detects issues, it will display a message similar to the following and corrective action is required.   

Issues Detected!  The design has the following nets with incorrect BUFDIV_LEAF DIVIDE settings



If the issue is detected, a patch will be required.  Patches for the 2022.1, 2021.2.1 and 2021.2 releases are attached. Contact Technical support if the patch is required for a different Vivado release. 
 
Note: This issue was fixed in the 2022.1.2 Vivado release.
