PMBus Interface

For applications supporting the PMBus power system protocol specification, the SYSMON adds the SMBALERT output as described in the PMBus specification. This optional pin provides an interrupt output and supports alert response address (ARA) functionality as defined by the PMBus specification. All PMBUS faults are shared with relevant SYSMON alarm registers. To change alarm or fault thresholds, the SYSMON NPI register space must be unlocked via the PCSR_LOCK register, which can be accomplished via PMBUS or other methods.
