The legacy traffic interface is maintained for best effort Ethernet data: Ethernet as it is known today (for example, a PC surfing the Internet). The signals forming the TX Legacy Traffic interface are defined in Table 1. The timing of this interface is as described in Transmitting Outbound Frames, with the interface functionality limited to full-duplex, no jumbo support, VLAN frames enabled, and flow control disabled.
