For maximum flexibility, the flow control logic can be disabled in the core and alternatively implemented in the user logic connected to the core. Any type of Control frame can be transmitted through the core by the TX AXI4-Stream interface using the same transmission procedure as a standard Ethernet frame (see Transmitting Outbound Frames).
