The above figure shows the usage model of Linux XDMA software drivers. The DMA/Bridge Subsystem for PCIe example design is implemented on an AMD FPGA , which is connected to an X86 host through PCI Express. In this mode, the XDMA driver in kernel space runs on Linux, whereas the test application runs in user space.
