When data errors are seen during normal operation, the Memory IP Advanced Traffic Generator (ATG) should be used to replicate the error. The ATG is a verified solution that can be configured to send a wide range of data, address, and command patterns. It additionally presents debug status information for general memory traffic debug post calibration. The ATG stores the write data and compares it to the read data.
