Figure 1. Configuration Tab
- Type of Configuration
- Sets the HSC Operating Mode.
- System Configuration
- Sets the Overall Capacity, SA Configuration and HSC Hard IP Site.
- HSC Port Configuration
- Sets the HSC ports for Data Rate, Datapath Interface, Crypto Protocol Mode, Cipher Suits, Integrity Confidentiality Mode, and Replay Protection.
Note: Configuration values set in the GUI are only used in
the example design as its usage is common for all supported modes. The data rate configuration
registers (P0_CONFIGURATION_ENC_MAIN, P2_CONFIGURATION_ENC_MAIN, P0_CONFIGURATION_DEC_MAIN,
P2_CONFIGURATION_DEC_MAIN) are properly set by the GUI for the selected configuration in the
generated core. However, the generated core still includes all input and output ports regardless
of the configuration selected in the GUI. Some AXI4-Stream
Interface and Per-Port Interface signals are only relevant in certain port configurations and
crypto modes. Unused ports must be tied-off or left unconnected. Refer to Table 1 for the list of applicable signals in each mode
and how unused ports should be tied-off or ignored.
