The DFX Decoupler core has been designed to
operate with the Dynamic Function eXchange Controller core, as
shown in the following figure. The rm_decouple output of
the appropriate Virtual Socket Manager can be connected directly to the decouple control
signal of the DFX Decoupler core. If multiple
decouplers are used, it can be connected to each decouple control signal directly, or
the decouplers can be configured as shown in the master and slave use case, as
previously discussed.
