The DPUCVDX8G requires a device driver, which is included in the Vitis AI development kit. Free developer resources can be obtained from the Vitis AI website. The Vitis AI User Guide (UG1414) describes how to use the DPUCVDX8G with the Vitis AI, however, the basic development flow is highlighted in the following figure. First,the Vitis IDE is leveraged to generate the PDI (Programmable Device Image). Second, the PDI is downloaded to the target board. For instructions on installing the related driver and dependent libraries, refer to the Vitis AI User Guide (UG1414).
