The VDU slave interface is accessed once per frame by the APU, which sends a frame-level command to the IP. This interface, therefore, does not require a fast data path. An interrupt is generated at the end of each frame. These commands are processed by the embedded MCU, which generates tile and slice-level commands to the Decoder block hardware.
