- H.264 (AVC):
- Interlace video format
- Flexible macroblock ordering (FMO)
- Arbitrary slice ordering (ASO)
- Redundant slice (RS)
- Dynamic chroma format/profile/level change within a single stream
- H.265 (HEVC):
- Dynamic chroma format/profile/level change within a single stream
