If programming the QSPI is not working with the device, the Zynq® UltraScale+™ RFSoC can be programmed directly using the Vivado® Design Suite. Make sure you have installed Vivado before proceeding with the steps below.
Important: When you install
Vivado and then perform a cold boot of the
servers, the image will not persist in the devices.
- Disable the PCIe slot in BIOS settings using the iDRAC GUI.
- Perform a warm reboot on the host machine.
- Program the bitstream using Vivado
Hardware Manager as shown in the following figure for the ZU48 device.
- Enable the PCIe slot in the BIOS
settings using the iDRAC GUI.Note: iDRAC versions are different. After changing the PCIe settings in the slot using the BIOS in the iDRAC GUI, you might also need to change the PCIe settings in the console during the restart.
- Perform a warm reboot on the host machine.
