The T2 card is preprogrammed with an image that allows you to use the flash application (flash_app) to program the QSPI flash memories that are connected to the Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoC ZU48 device.
The QSPI flash or the devices can also be programmed through JTAG using an ADK connector. The Xilinx tools must be installed on a computer and then connected to the T2 card through an ADK connector. An ADK connector is not part of the T2 card and must be obtained separately. The following figure shows the connection on a T2 card for the ADK ribbon cable.
Connect the ADK ribbon cable as shown in the following figure.
To complete the setup, connect the ribbon cable to the ADK card, then connect the ADK card to a micro USB cable so that it can connect to a computer that can run the Xilinx tools. The full connection is shown below.
The following figure shows the T2 card installed into a server, with the ADK cable attached and the micro USB cable going out of the back of the server. This setup allows the USB to be connected to an external laptop running on the server. The Xilinx tools can be used on the laptop or the server to program the devices on the T2 card.
