Identify Startup Sequence Problems

If sfptpd fails to start or indicates that the PTP interface is not in an ‘up’ state:

• Check the sfptpd status for information:

  # systemctl status sfptpd

• Examine the system log for startup sequence/issues:

  # cat /var/log/messages | grep -E 'enp4s0f0|sfptpd'

  Replace enp4s0f0 with the sfptpd interface.
