The PPS output is not latched to the PPS input. The output pulse is triggered by the start of second period on the adapter clock. When comparing the PPS output to an external timesource, the adapter clock should be closely synchronized to the external timesource.
PPS ‘chaining’ is not a supported mode of operation.
