sfptpd generates state and statistical data in files in the
/var/lib/sfptpd directory. These files are
automatically generated whenever sfptpd is running. No additional
configuration is required.

versionNote: The stats-system file is only generated when the system clock
is being synchronized to another clock in the host and is controlled by a local clock
servo process. When running an NTP fallback configuration the system clock is
synchronized by NTP, therefore no stats-system file is
created.
