The sfptpd
distribution provides default configuration files for all supported modes in the config sub-directory:
- Default options are set within each config file. For example:
Some options will require changing the values to match the specific PTP network.ptp_domain 0
- Additional options are commented out. For example:
These can be selected by un-commenting the option line and, if required, entering a different value for the option:#ptp_announce_interval 1
ptp_announce_interval 3
Some of these files contain generic options, and are described in Example Configuration Files. The remaining files in the config directory give examples of how to use the different sync modules. For descriptions of these, see the chapters describing the sync modules.
