The following figure shows an example report from Report Design Analysis in Complexity Mode that reports up to one level of hierarchy from the top module.

Tcl Command:

report_design_analysis -complexity -hierarchical_depth 1

Note: Column filtering can be enabled to simplify the navigation of the report by right clicking on one of the table headers. Column filters can be combined to reduce the report when a high number of hierarchies are reported.
